Our involvement
A presence in the community
In Baie-Comeau, parish life goes hand in hand with practical support for individuals and families. The Church works with volunteers and local partners to respond to community needs.

Mutual aid and solidarity
Supporting individuals and families

Standing with people in need
Social services offer support tailored to individuals and families going through a difficult time. The Marché de Claire provides furniture and clothing, among other things.
This work relies on the commitment of volunteers and the solidarity of the community.

Accompanying people who are ill
Priests and deacons are present with people in hospital, residents of care homes, and older adults. This pastoral ministry serves both sectors of Baie-Comeau.

Growing with young people
The MAVIE project invites young people to share experiences, get involved, and discover spirituality. It offers a place for meeting and support within the community.
Accompanying people through grief
The communities offer prayerful support to people who are grieving and to their loved ones, both in church and at funeral homes.
